What you need is a DVR system like the EchoVue Model 405 or Model 805 security DVR. These digital video recorders work much like your Cable or Satellite DVR systems. They record video real-time and make later access and viewing extremely easy. The 405 and 805 can both be purchased without a hard drive or with a selection of hard drives with storage capacities ranging between 80 and 400 gigabytes.
These DVRs are more sophisticated than your standard DVR. These DVRs feature built-in motion detection, variable frame rate recording, a remote control, network connectivity, additional hard drive bays, quad / switching capabilities and much more.
